As no by-election has been requested, Sheet Parish Council will fill the current Parish Councillor vacancy by co-option at the next PC meeting on 9th September.  If you are interested in standing for the Parish Council, please contact the Clerk by Friday, 5th September.

Casual Vacancy

At the July Parish Council meeting, Cllr. Gail Martin announced her long-postponed retirement from Sheet Parish Council, to take effect from the beginning of August.

The Annual Parish Assembly 29/05/2025

The Annual Parish Assembly will be held on Thursday, 29th May at Sheet Village Hall at 7.00 p.m.

Our speaker this year will be Julie Robinson, Head Teacher of Sheet Primary School who will be talking to us about the use of smart phones in schools.

Resignation of Chris Wilton

We regret to announce the resignation of Chris Wilton, Chairman of Sheet Parish Council. All at Sheet Parish Council are very grateful to him for his hard work and commitment over the past few years, both as a Councillor and Chairman, and wish him all the best for the future. Council meetings

The next full meeting of the Parish Council is on Tuesday 8th April at 7.00pm in the small meeting room.

Autospeedwatch cameras – London Road and Pulens Lane –

Thanks to the funding we have received from East Hampshire District Council, Sheet Parish Council have installed Autospeedwatch cameras on both the London Road and Pulens Lane with the aim of reducing speed on the busiest roads through the parish. New 20mph policy approved at HCC

Executive Lead Member for Universal Services Cllr Nick Adams-King approved a new policy on 20mph speed limits. The development of this policy followed a review by the Select Committee. The Decision report, including the new Position Statement, can be read at this link

The Parish Priority Statement Survey
