A children's playground featuring wooden climbing structures, a black tunnel, and a bright blue slide. The ground is covered in safety mats. Trees surround the area, and fluffy clouds are visible in the sky.

The Recreation Ground in Sheet is accessed via a track from Inmans Lane. Bounded on three sides by houses, and at the far end by the Half Moon Pub, this well maintained, enclosed space provides a safe green area for sports and games, with play equipment for all ages, including an outdoor table tennis table. The Recreation Ground is also home to the Scout Hut (1st Sheet St. Mary’s) with the hut being used by Stepping Stones, a popular community owned pre-school, during the day.

In 2018, with input from the children at Sheet School, additional new climbing equipment was installed to enhance the play facilities. SDNPA CIL monies were used to finance the project.
