Fire Risk around the Village

With all the hot weather the risk of wildfires is concerning both residents and the parish council. There are several ‘no smoking and no BBQ’ signs on the Millennium Field and similar plus ‘no bonfires’ on the Allotments. Despite this there have clearly been BBQs/fires lit on the field in the last week or so. Please do report any fire or BBQ you see and ask those using them to desist if you are comfortable to do so. The field will be cut shortly but the risk persists. Many thanks from Sheet Parish Council.
